What We Do
Most drivers with suspended licenses don't know where to start. Reinstatement requirements vary by state and suspension type—some require SR-22 filing, some require proof of insurance without SR-22, and some allow hardship or restricted licenses with specific coverage minimums. We built this site to explain Oregon's reinstatement process clearly and connect you with agents who handle suspended license cases daily.
When you submit your information, licensed agents in your area compete for your business. This service is free to you—we're compensated by the agents when they quote your case, not by you. You choose which agent to work with, if any. Our job is to surface the options you didn't know existed: non-owner policies if you don't have a car, hardship licenses if you qualify, and agents who won't reject your application outright.
We don't sell insurance directly. We don't represent a single carrier. We explain what Oregon requires, then connect you to the people who can fulfill it.
How the Process Works
You answer questions about your suspension type, current vehicle ownership, and location. The form takes 3-5 minutes. We ask about suspension reason because Oregon's reinstatement requirements differ for DUI suspensions, failure to pay tickets, lapsed insurance, and accumulation of points. We ask about vehicle ownership because non-owner SR-22 policies cost less and fulfill the same state requirement if you don't currently own a car.
Your information is sent to licensed agents in your county who specialize in high-risk and suspended license cases. Typically 2-4 agents respond within 24 hours with quotes. They'll confirm what Oregon DMV requires for your specific suspension, whether SR-22 filing is mandatory, and what your coverage options are. You compare their quotes, ask follow-up questions, and choose an agent. If none of the quotes work for you, you're under no obligation.
We do not store your payment information. We do not auto-enroll you in any policy. Agents contact you directly—by phone, email, or text, depending on your preference. Once you select an agent and purchase a policy, that agent files your SR-22 or proof of insurance with Oregon DMV if required. You receive confirmation of filing, typically within 1-3 business days.
How We Maintain Content Accuracy
Every state page and coverage guide on this site is researched against that state's DMV reinstatement rules, insurance code, and Department of Insurance filings. Oregon-specific content reflects Oregon Revised Statutes, Oregon DMV Administrative Rules, and Oregon Division of Financial Regulation carrier requirements. When we cite a filing period, fee amount, or coverage minimum, it's pulled from the current published rule—not an aggregate estimate.
We update state requirement pages quarterly and after major legislative changes. When Oregon adjusts its liability minimums, SR-22 filing procedures, or reinstatement fee schedules, we revise the affected pages within 30 days. If a detail is variable by county or case type, we say so explicitly rather than generalizing.
Rate estimates are based on aggregated quote data from participating agents, not invented. We disclose that rates vary by driving history, vehicle, ZIP code, and coverage selection. We do not rank agents or carriers as "best" or "cheapest"—we explain what each coverage type does and let you decide what fits your reinstatement timeline and budget.
